Hertz have announced it will be buying 65 000 EV:s from Swedish car manufacturer Polestar. The cars will be delviered over a five year period.
The first deliveries are expected to start during the Spring 2022 and in North America and Australia in late 2022. The initial model will be the electric sedan Polestar 2.
“We are excited to partner with Polestar and look forward to introducing their premium EV products into our retail and rideshare fleets,” said Stephen Scherr, Hertz CEO.
