As we all know by now, Tesla sometimes likes to think outside the box. This time, in Los Angeles, Tesla plans to open a Supercharger station complete with restaurant and cinema. Everything will be designed like a restaurant from the 1950s, with staff going around on roller skates to serve food but the whole parking lot filled with superchargers.
Now Fox 11 Los Angeles reports from from the site and publishes footage that show how Tesla has begun construction. The station is located on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles. According to the tv report, the station should be ready before the end of this year.
Fox News foretells success and reports that the station will be open to all electric cars. The new unique station is a pilot facility and the reporter expects Tesla to open more and bigger stations of this kind in the future.
