New photos presented of the fully electric Lancia Ypsilon

Lancia now gives us a closer look at both the exterior and the interior of the Lancia Ypsilon. This is the brand’s first electric car in a series of planned models.

The center console is functional with storage, cup holders and important buttons. There is also a place for the mobile phone with wireless charging framed by a round small table-like surface. The table, or tavolino as Lancia calls it, should give the owner “a feeling of being at home, no matter where you are”.

The SALA infotainment system is the very heart of the car. The interface can be customized with widgets to suit one’s own wishes and needs.

Below the screen are a series of buttons for sound, climate and lighting. In addition, the system can be controlled with both gestures and voices.

There has not been many technical specifications shared yet. What Lancia reveals is that the range will be 403 kilometers (WLTP). We do know, however, that the Ypsilon is a sibling model to the Peugeot e-208 and Opel Corsa. We can then assume that there is a 51 kWh battery in the car and perhaps a 115 kW (156 hp) engine. At least that’s what the e-208 offers.

The taillights on the Ypsilon are a tribute to the brand’s past and rally host Lancia Stratos. The horizontal Y’s are placed in a round frame.

In a few weeks, Lancia will present everything about the Ypsilon. We will get back with more pictures, full specifications and prices. Check out the official teaser video below (in Italian).
