Cheapest electric car in Europe will be updated this summer

Dacia Spring is currently the cheapest electric car in Europe.

Dacia Spring is the third best-selling electric car on the European private market. Above all it attracts with its low price, which in some regions is below €13 000, that makes it Europe’s cheapest electric car.

Now Dacia confirms that an update is underway. The plan is to present the updated version at the Geneva Motor Show in February. It is confirmed to be a completely new exterior design as well as a new interior. Whether there will be any improvements on technical specification such as the current engine output of 48kW and 26,8 kWh battery remains to be seen. Sales are expected to start in the summer of 2024.
